Back Software

The software here is without any warrenty! It is free and not to be used commercially.
Note that I'm not a highly skilled software engineer but from time to time I need something that is'nt available so then I have to write it myself....

CALENDAR is the first program I ever made in C. It is not very useful but it gave me some experience with the language. Invoke from dosprompt with parameter YEAR (0000 to 2399). It seems to work correctly within this range even at the transfer in 1582 where 10 days were skipped. Download: CALENDAR.c CALENDAR.exe
LOAD is a program that converts compiler, assembler, linker output formats to a raw binary file. It is not written very structured but it seems to work properly. Invoke from dosprompt. Without parameters it will list it's capabilities. Download: LOAD.c LOAD.exe
UNLOAD is a program that converts a raw binary file to some ascii absolute object formats. It is the opposite from LOAD. Invoke from dosprompt. Without parameters it will list it's capabilities. Download: UNLOAD.c UNLOAD.exe
Note: The FPC format is not a widely used format as I designed it myself. It is more compact then the other formats but the ascii is not 'readable'. It packs 4 bytes into 5 ascii characters.
fchk (updated 2003-09-01) checks for double files in the given path, ignoring the filename. It reads all files and if the filesize and a CRC of all bytes in the files is equal it assumes the files are equal. It seems to work reliable but there is always a small chance that unequal files are treated as equal. An actual file compare is not done. (Files with zero length are always equal!) The program may delete double files as well. Invoke the program from the doswindow. Without parameters it will show the syntax. Download: fchk.c fchk.exe
rdbx I needed to export emails from my 'Outlook Express 5.0' dbx files. Searching the web for something I could not find anything that worked reliable so I decided to try it myself. There was not much documentation about dbx files either except for two small but helpful documents from 'Will Kranz' and 'Dave Smith'. Thanks guys! So in about 3 evenings I had this working. Don't expect much from it but for me (my version of OE) all emails seem to be extracted correctly. Also the number of extracted mails is conform the number showing in the status bar of OE. Invoke the program from the doswindow. Without parameters it will show the syntax. Download: rdbx.c rdbx.exe
Note: For debugging a file in the target directory/folder is created named rdbx.log. I did not take the time to remove it from the program. If you don't need it: delete.
cross disassemblers for 2650 6301(6802) 84180(Z80) 6502 6805 8041 8048 8085 8400
These cross disassemblers generate code with labels that can be assembled without many changes or additions. To be used from cmd.exe or from a batch file. Without parameters, the disassemblers gives some usage info.
